| Abstract | The characteristically arranged groups of pits, etched by brachiopod pedicles, were found on some shells of the terebratulid brachiopod Sellithyris plzaseolina (Valenciennes in Lamarck, 1819) coming from the locality Velim near Kolin (Bohemian Upper Cretaceous, Lower Turonian?). These etching traces, hitherto unknown from Cze-· choslovakia, are closely similar to ichnogenus Podichnus Bromley and Surlyk, 1973. It is probable that at least some of the traces described were produced by pedicles of Sel/ithyris phaseolina. |
