Diagnosis. (Emended after Bromley 1972, p. 96.) Simple, more or less cylindrical Trypanites with straight or gently curving course generally following close beneath the substrate surface.
Description. Essentially cylindrical, straight to curved borings oriented parallel to the substrate surfaces. Rare examples exhibit single apertural openings. The dimensions of each specimen vary with lengths ranging from 0·9-6·0 mm and diameters ranging from 60-500 μm. The distal portions taper to a blind end

Diagnosis: Simple, more or less cylindrical Trypanites with straight or gently curving course generally following close beneath the substrate surface. Diameter ca. 1 mm, length up to ca. 3 cm.
