Diagnosis: Predominantly horizontal, unbranched, unlined, elongated tubes, circular or subcircular in cross-section, straight or tortuous, located at the interface of bone and sediment, but penetrating the bone cortical tissue; fill consists of both unconsolidated sediment and bone chips; rough texture of the exposed surface.
