Steininger et al., 2024:
Diagnosis: Shafts in wood logs, perpendicular to surface,
in longitudinal rows following growth direction of
the wood fibres. Tunnels horizontal, millimeters to centimeters
long. Shafts and tunnels penetrate growth and
cell structures.
